Opposition

I hope from this blog there isn't the assumption that I have all the answers. Far from it. I still have many unanswered questions and things I deem mysteries of God.
One particular thing that I've never been able to wrap my head around is opposition. Is there really opposition in all things? And why does there have to be.
In my rude lack of understanding I wondered if maybe Lehi was having a senior moment a.k.a. senile. I doubt it though. Modern day prophets never seem to hit a point where they are senile. They always have it together. Men of God for sure.
Maybe one day I'll understand this all.
For now I'll stick with 2 Nephi 2:24 and Mosiah 5:2.
I've never left the church because I am truly converted. My head may not understand all the time, but I can't deny it because I've felt the Spirit.
