Time and ETERNITY

I've been meaning to blog on this for a while and so even though I should be preparing for the Sabbath, I thought I'd drop my thoughts on the subject quickly.
I really can't recall what sparked the thought this week. Maybe just thinking about being with Neil forever. It's a concept I just can't quite grasp. Everything here is ruled by time. EVERYTHING. So how does forever feel? I know I'm not the only one that has ever thought this.

"Regis" always thought the fact that we had a comparison of our time to God's was silly. (Apparently he didn't have the Bible memorized like I thought though because Peter and David make the exact same comparison in Ps. 90: 4 and 2 Pet. 3: 8.)
If you went to these links you would see that the comparison is that 1,000 years here is like one day there. Can you imagine.

But when Regis said that it did make me start thinking. What is it with time here and there and eternity.
I got thinking about the creation and could he really create the whole earth in 7 days. (Do the math=if it's on the Lord's time, it actually took 7,000 year :).

BUT, and this is a big but, and it's still what perplexes me. What if we have no way to tell time there? How do we tell time? ANSWER: With the Sun. It governs our day and night.

SO...what do we use in the Celestial Kingdom? And could you imagine a day that was 1000 years long? No night or sleep. I think I'm going to be exhausted.
This will be continued, because in doing further research before making the post I got even more confused.

What are your thoughts?
